Celebrating Love…

This year we were intentional about how we celebrated Valentine’s Day as a family. My husband and I went out of our way to make sure everyone felt special. We enjoyed a deliciously beautiful dinner, dessert and conversation. The excitement was high among all three children as we dined by beautiful candle light.

As a wife and mother my cup was full. It was a true blessing to see how much joy I could bring to my entire family. It was simple. I simply agreed, in my heart, to serve my gifts to my family, FIRST.

The gift of love through service is amazing.  It has the power to heal and to fill.

Ask yourself this question:  Where am I serving my gifts FIRST?

All my Love,

How many times have you seen it?

In 1984, at the age of sixteen-years-old, Mary Lou Retton scored the first perfect ten in the history of the United States Olympic team. After her flawless performance on the vault one reporter asked, “How does it feel to have achieved the first perfect ten for the U.S. team?”

Her answer was, “Like it’s always felt!”

The reporter challenged her stating, “But no one has ever done it before!”

Mary Lou’s response was piercing, “I’ve done it thousands of times in my mind.”

Napoleon Hill said it best, “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”

Mary Lou understood the power of believing… it is to think a thought, until you feel the thought, and now you believe the thought.

Once you believe it… there is no such thing as it being impossible to achieve it.  The only impossibility is that you will not achieve it.

Ask yourself this question: What have I done a thousand times in my mind?

Aim: to FOCUS on your dream.  See yourself doing it a thousand times in your mind.

Pay Attention…

Motivation Monday 2.5.2018

This month’s inspiration is FOCUS. Focus begins with a decision.  We either decide to get focused and live the life of our dreams or we choose to meander aimlessly through life.

Pay attention to your thoughts.  Thoughts become actions and actions can shape our lives.

Ask yourself this question: What am I giving my attention to?

Note: Whatever has your attention has your focus.

Aim: to focus your thoughts in the direction of your goals.
